Guess what I saw....

Guess what I saw...
I saw a big dome out side of my house as I look outside of my window as I Opened
My curtains. I walked outside and also saw 3 kangaroos running right next to the very big
Dome. I wonder what they were doing because my mum said that I'm not allowed to go outside because I was in my pj's I was so worried because I didn't know what those kangaroos were doing so I ran outside speeding at the back of a huge tree my mum was so worried because I didn't listen to her and only because i was worried.so then I no longer worried about the kangaroos
And I decided to listen to my mum. but i'm just wondering if i should have a little peak to see whats in the big dome. wait no no no i shouldn't because my mum will be worried but she wouldn't know because what if she was having a sleep. for about five hours. i get to do what ever i want how about i just play outside of our house or outside the big dome for about twenty minutes and the come back in my "AMAZING" ROOM. and take a sleep cause iv'e been up for a long time i hope i dream about that big dome. wait i didn't even know how that got there.

Lets Skip The Boring Part,Lets Go Straight To Constructing.
Ok, Lets Start With...Oh I Know What We Need.I Know We Need Paper And Bottles Also We Will Use  Toilet Paper Rolls.At Least Miss Lister Is Supplying Us With Polystyrene.
Lets Start With The Boosters, This Bit Is Very Annoying Because We Have To Wrap Paper Over 
A Bottle. This May Sound Very Easy But It's Not Trust Me, Have You Tried Wrapping A Bottle 3 Times And Then Sellotaping It To Make It Stay It's Hard. That Took About 1 Hour Of Our Time.
1 LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG Hour Later We Went On To The 98 Cm Fuel Pod.(I Only Know It Was 98 Cm Because We're All Done Now)
This Time We Used A Bigger Bottle But Not Bigger Paper So That Wasn't Such A Smart Idea.
Despite The Fact It Worked We Should Have Got Bigger Paper.
After That We Thought We Were Done But Then I Saw People Painting And Said "Great More Work"
( At Least It Was Fun.)
Then We Had To Wait To Friday For Judging On Friday.

How To Make A Awesome Recycled Rocket

Today I'm going to show you how to make a recycled rocket.

These are the materials you need to make this object.  Firstly, you need a hot glue gun for gluing parts together.  Next you need: toilet rolls, coke bottles, a party hat and some hard cardboard.You can also use felts but paint's better for colouring in.  Next it's time to build the rocket.  Firstly, what you do is get two big coke bottles.  Then you cut the top off on the coke bottle.  The next thing you to do now is join the half coke bottle with the full coke bottle with a hot glue gun.  After that you paint the rocket any colour you want.  After the paint dries you can get your two toilet rolls and slowly glue the rolls in the middle sides of the rocket.  Make sure it sticks.  Then get the thick cardboard and cut it into two triangles. After that you glue them with the hot glue gun and glue it on the bottom sides.  Then get your party hat and paint it. When it's dry you glue the hat on the top off the rocket so it's aerodynamic.  If you want you can decorate it and give it a name if you want.

That is how you make a recycled rocket.  Then you can play with it. 3, 2, 1, Blast OFF!  Bshhhh!

Korean Students

ANYONG HASEYO 

We have Korean students  with us for 3 weeks and we have three girls named Coco,Olivia and Amy there are 14 Koreans and they all started on Monday morning and we had a welcome Powhiri with Mrs Aye they are  extremely funny and they laugh a lot. Today they played a few games with room 3 and 1 and they have enjoyed 
being here at HPS.

Rockets,Rockets,Rockets and space! All about space and ROCKETS! I love rockets and our solar system I a specially like the solar system! There is machines that goes into space called rockets! Rockets have engines and they can be made out of magma and all saughts ok now onto the solar system there is lots of planets in the solar system like Pluto Venus Mars mercury Neptune earth and even more there is no stars in the solar system they are out of it! Do you know that some planets have more then 1 moon that's cool right!and did you know that the sun is a star the sun is in the middle of the solar system not out, I wonder why?!? Ok I don't know a lot so I have to go bye now!

Holy rocket

Holy rocket! A person has crash landed at our school at RM 1. WO-HO he's telling us alot of information about ROCKETS. First he introduced himself then he started talking about engines he said "Rockets have very big engines do you know a balloon it flys around and around and around because it's air flows out the small hole It is the same as a rocket engine but it blows fire and smoke instead. Then he said alot more of stuff and different things and showed us a whole lot of fantastic information. Then he showed as a fantastic little model rocket he talk about that wonderful little thing. He said with a smile any one want to see this rocket F.L.Y. We screamed "YES!"we took our shoes off then we sat under the veranda when they walk to the other side of the field.I remembered I had a umbrella.LOL!Then we ran to where the rocket was set.We moved back.then he said count down from 10. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 BLAST OFF!!!the rocket blasted into the sky WOW!then it landed with a BOOM we asked if he could do it again.he said "No sorry"  then we ran and washed our feet then put our shoes on then walked to RM 1 he talked a little more then he gave the teachers some space made plastic paper to have then Daniel and Anthony gave him a present then he left we had awesome time with him. 

10, 9, 8, .... 3, 2, 1, BLAST OFF!!

"Push the button!" shouted the senior school crowding round. Off it goes, rocketing through the sky leaving a cloud of puffy smoke. Shooting across the like a speeding car. The parachute deploys. it gently floats down and touches the grass. crowding round a stench fills the air and makes everyone go "eww!"
